Group Financial Accountant – Dublin / Hybrid
Our client, a leading Construction Group located in Dublin, is seeking a Financial Accountant to join their expanding team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the finance team, the Financial Accountant will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the finance function. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced finance environment.

Your Role
* Preparation and review of management accounts and statutory financial statements.
* Assist in the preparation of annual filings and liaise with external auditors.
* Support the month-end close process and ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations and assist in the consolidation of group results.
* Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
* Manage and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to supplier and customer accounts.
* Assist in the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payrolls for Ireland and overseas.
* Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
* Maintain up-to-date standard operating procedures for all finance processes.
* Support the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes.
* Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance finance processes and systems.
Your Skills
* Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) with at least 1 year post-qualification experience.
* Strong analytical skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* High attention to detail and a strong focus on controls and processes.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
* Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
