Overview
Opportunity for a Electrical Supervisor to join out Life Science Team in Tralee. The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work in accordance with safety regulations and company standards. This role involves supervising a team of electricians, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget, and maintaining compliance with electrical codes and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate a strong knowledge of HSE practices and promote a positive safety culture by leading by example.Proficient in Safe Systems of Work (SSOW) and LOTO procedures.Assist in the preparation, review and approval of method statements and permits for Electrical and other relevant contractorsRegular site inspections to monitor the progress of Electrical and MEP works, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety protocolsTrack and document the progress of on-site activities, identifying any deviations from the plan and implementing corrective actions to keep the project on trackReview and Approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITP’s) and Inspection Test Records (ITR’s)Attend / Lead system walkdowns to verify installations meet project specifications and standardsManage the closeout of relevant punch list items to ensure project / system completionReview and approval of turnover documentation ensuring documentation meets project and client requirementsCoordination and witnessing of commissioning activitiesAttend meeting with relevant disciplines and contractorsAttend and actively participate in meetings with relevant disciplines and contractors.Provide updates, address concerns, and collaborate with project team and stakeholders
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical supervisionPharmaceutical experience or clean room experience required
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field preferred.
