About the Company
My client is a leading multinational client based in Cork, Ireland.
About the Position
In this role you will be part of a team responsible for test content development, automation and commercialization of key software drivers that enable critical platform level requirements across the spectrum of industry leading products. You will join a multi-disciplinary test team responsible for technologies including USB, PMIC, PCIe, Hypervisor, Boot, Clocks and Storage. This role will involve balancing some hands-on testing and leveraging that knowledge to build sophisticated automated test systems that can fan out to meet the test requirements across all stages of software delivery. Flexibility in work assignments and thoroughness in project management are crucial. To be successful you will need to have very strong communication skills and be an effective team player.
Experience/Requirements
* Masters or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
* 4+ Years of test/automation development or related experience preferred.
* Experience in System Software and/or low-level Firmware validation.
* Solid knowledge on SW Quality, ARM architecture, Linux, RTOS programming.
* Strong understanding of test methodology.
* Good understanding of the software development cycle.
* Proven experience in test automation development, source code management, continuous integration, and script programming, test framework development.
* Experience with designing and developing multi-process and multi-threaded applications.
* Excellent communication and team working skills.
