Responsibilities
* Perform preventive maintenance tasks.
* Work on assignments that range from semi-routine to moderately complex in nature where independent action and initiative are required in resolving problems and developing recommendations.
* Perform routine work with minimal guidance.
* Independently locate and diagnose failure, replaces defective components and perform basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals and verbal and/or written instructions.
* Maintain appropriate maintenance and repair logs.
* Use a variety of hand, power and test tools and equipment.
* Provide general maintenance support as designated by supervisor.
* Coordinate maintenance on critical systems / equipment with supervisor.
* Create or revise standard operating procedures.
* Perform multi-shift work as required.
* Comply with all safety regulations and current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
* Be available to respond to emergency notifications via phone.
* Demonstrate knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety regulations.
* Utilise established precedents and policies.
* Demonstrates knowledge of maintenance systems, methods and procedures.
* Recognise deviation from accepted practice and troubleshoot.
Requirements
* 3+ years of relevant experience within a GMP facility.
* Current Leaving Certificate and Trades Certificate GSL.
* Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety regulations.
* Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications.
