Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Mullar occurs under various circumstances, including fluctuating operating conditions and implementation of new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage procurement processes for the Professional Services & Operations categories, involving definition of user requirements, category profiling, sourcing strategy development, tender management, and contract setup.
* Collaborate with business areas to ensure tender requirements are agreed upon and contracts are established when necessary.
* Responsible for advertising, delivering, and awarding tenders in line with business needs and relevant procurement regulations.
* Support the development of robust procurement strategies for assigned categories and assist in executing annual implementation plans.
* Identify and deliver value for money through the implementation of cost savings and continuous improvement programs from category strategies.
* Reporting and analysis of tender activities, as well as supplier market insights for assigned procurement categories.
* Engage in improvement projects and initiatives to support sustainability objectives.
* Aid in creating a culture of high performance within the Procurement team by utilizing performance management and reward systems effectively.
* Simplify business processes to reduce complexity for customers and enable employees to perform their best work.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in procurement is essential.
* Experience in public procurement within a highly regulated environment is desirable.
