Are you a results-driven professional with a passion for sales growth? Then we must get to know you. As a Business Development Manager in our UK & Ireland team, you will identify and execute high-impact sales campaigns and events that generate new business opportunities in collaboration with our Global Marketing team. You will also ensure that all leads are promptly and effectively followed up, maximizing conversion and revenue potential.
Additionally, you will be responsible for accurate sales forecasting, CRM updates, client demonstrations, and managing the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure.
What will your action-packed to-do list look like in this role?
* Developing and executing a strategic territory plan to maintain strong engagement across the ICB and Trust landscape.
* Driving business growth by creating and managing multi-year plans, maintaining CRM updates, and ensuring accurate sales forecasting.
* Working closely with the UK & I Sales team and Global Marketing team to generate and maintain relationships with leads as well as identify sales campaigns and events.
* In collaboration with the Head of Bids and Sales Enablement, overseeing all commercial proposals with internal customers, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.
* Providing technical expertise throughout the entire sales process and leading client demonstrations, exhibitions, and site visits while managing the full sales lifecycle from initial engagement to deal closure.
Skills and expertise you need to excel at this job.
* 10+ years' experience in software enterprise sales, account directorship, or senior account management.
* Strong knowledge of enterprise healthcare software solutions and their application within the NHS, as well as expertise in medication management, with the ability to engage customers at all levels.
* Proven record of accomplishment in managing and winning complex NHS bids and a deep understanding of NHS procurement processes and requirements.
* High motivation and self-drive with the ability to make informed, quick, and effective decisions under pressure both independently and as part of a team.
* Experience with CRM systems and sales methodologies.
