Job Summary:
A Wind Turbine Technician plays a key role in the operation and maintenance of SSE Renewables' fleet. This opportunity is open to entry-level technicians looking to start a career in renewables through to Enhanced Wind Turbine Technicians looking to drive the change to Net Zero.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform scheduled maintenance and fault rectification on our fleet of turbines using information from our maintenance management system.
* Evaluate turbine performance to ensure optimum capacity.
* Deliver wind turbine maintenance for SSE Renewable Operations driven by four key performance measures: SHE, Capability, Quality, and Cost.
Requirements:
* NFQ Level 6 in a Mechanical/Electrical discipline or equivalent.
* Demonstrable experience in servicing, fault finding, and repairing Wind Turbine Generators or heavy plant equipment.
* GWO basic training certification is highly beneficial but can be provided.
* Strong understanding of safe systems of work, including Wind Turbine Safety Rules.
