About The Role:
Our client is seeking an IT Manager/Coordinator to join their organisation on an initial 6-month contract. This will be a hybrid role with the option to be based in one of their multiple West Cork sites.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations. You will also assist in completing a full review of the organisation's core infrastructure, applications, and security.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
2. Upgrading, installing, and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives.
3. Implementing security protocols and procedures to prevent potential threats.
4. Documenting processes, as well as backing up and archiving data.
5. Developing data retrieval and recovery procedures.
6. Designing and implementing efficient end-user feedback and error reporting systems.
7. Support the senior team with potential tender for new IT infrastructure.
8. Maintain Data Security.
9. Map out the current IT Infrastructure and recommend improvements and best practices.
10. Support with the development & implementation of Strategic Plan.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
1. Strong technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure & Applications.
2. Previous experience in an IT Management or Coordinator role.
3. Strong stakeholder engagement & management skills.
4. Ability to engage & manage IT Vendors.
5. Highly motivated individual, working to the highest professional standards and with proven ability to deliver results.
