Job Description:
The Application Support Engineer is a technical champion for customers, responsible for selecting, troubleshooting, and promoting the organization's product line to our clients' customer base. This role supports the overall mission of partnering for life.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Assists customers with technical selection of appropriate equipment
* Provides technical equipment proposals and project proposals for customer inquiries
* Participates in company-wide continuous improvement and quality efforts to support growth and meet customer needs
* Provides technical support to customers related to process equipment
* Identifies suitable products and criteria
* Sizes and selects application products in conjunction with supplier partners
* Identifies key product applications, features, and potential applications
* Performs design selections for various applications and specifications
* Provides technical support for the Sales team
* Partners with the Sales team to meet customer needs
* Troubleshoots challenging operational technical and product issues
* Assists in Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to develop product training programs
* Responds to technical and product questions from the Sales team and customers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Mechanical engineering experience and/or degree
* 5 years relevant experience, preferably in Application Engineering/Mechanical/Technical sales role
* Experience in solving customer issues with technical and product recommendations
* Technical product sales experience
* Team players who enjoy fast-paced environments and opportunities to join dynamic companies
* Valid EU passport
