Who will you be working for?
You will be working for one of Ireland's largest banks, who are based in south Dublin. They provide a full range of personal, business and corporate banking services. In recent years, their business has been restructured with the aim of becoming a customer-focused, profitable and lower risk institution, well positioned to support economic recovery in Ireland while seeking to generate sustainable shareholder returns. Working as a Solution Architect, you will be immersed in the technological and progressive culture that exists in the company.
What will you be doing?
Working closely with the Cyber Design and Delivery Manager and the wider team, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of security technology to secure the Bank's IT systems, network and applications from current and emerging threats in line with Strategic Investment priorities. The role will require both practical and strategic experience in implementing target security architectures across an enterprise environment with a mixture of on-premises and cloud technologies. You will have a key responsibility for developing and presenting project/solution documentation including Technical Requirements, High Level Design, Low Level Design, Architecture Boards artefacts and Infrastructure Board artefacts, along with analysis and designing Bank Security Systems as necessitated by technology availability and maturity, security gaps, emerging threats, business risk and cost-effectiveness.
What are we looking for?
We are looking to speak with candidates who have strong enterprise technology experience, with a proven track record in the delivery of Information Technology solutions, ideally in the Security space. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues and strategy to both technical and non-technical audiences at senior levels within the bank & with 3rd parties. You will have a detailed understanding of: application, information and Infrastructure technologies; application integration and API technologies; and of best-practices in multi-sourced software development and service management. Knowledge and change experience of the following a distinct advantage:, ITIL/SIAM, JIRA, SIEM, Security Analytics, SOAR, API integration, Password Vaulting, Network security devices such as IDS/IPS, Cryptographic systems such as HSM and PKI. Finally, you will be very well versed in working closely with Delivery Leads, Program Managers other technology professionals across a variety of differ platforms/ technical domains to agree to deliver solutions.
