We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person with a keen interest in producing exceptional, consistently high-quality food in a fast, efficient, and friendly environment. We want you to bring your experience, ideas, and personality to our talented team.
You will work together with our strong catering team. Hours are 12 to 9 pm with occasional weekend work.
Main Responsibilities
1. Assist in daily preparation and service.
2. Work at our deli counter and hot food kitchen.
3. Assist and maintain the highest standards of food quality and service.
4. Maintain kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
5. Follow set standard operational procedures as set out by the head chef.
6. Adhere to stock control and portion control guidelines.
7. Must be comfortable working as part of a team and alone and not be afraid to use and show own initiative.
Full HACCP training, as well as training in all of the above, will be provided.
About the Employer
Sult is the only bar/restaurant on campus at the University of Galway. It is the primary social and entertainment venue at the University of Galway and has a substantial bar, restaurant, café, deli, and event catering businesses.
