As a member of the wider Compliance team, the role holder will be wholly dedicated to HIDAC and will hold the PCF-12 function and be the primary point of contact for the Central Bank of Ireland for all compliance related matters.The role holder will work closely with the Global Head of Compliance to ensure shared compliance services are appropriate for HIDAC, and they will be a member of the HIDAC Executive Committee required to attend Board and other committee meetings.Hamilton Global Specialty is our multi-platform, specialty insurer operating primarily through a Lloyd's Syndicate and Dublin operating company with a managing general agency in the US.What you will doProvide advice and assistance to the HIDAC Board, management team and relevant employees in respect of existing and new regulatory requirements under the Irish (and other relevant) regulatory regime(s)Provide bespoke training and guidance (as required) and assist the Board and management team with the development and maintenance of HIDAC's policies and procedures ensuring they address relevant regulatory requirements and are sufficiently robustResponsible for completing and returning (in conjunction with underwriters) responses for CIFA noticesProvide response to business queries and day to day compliance tasksProvide prompt and accurate regulatory / compliance advice and assistance in respect of strategic and business mattersAct as primary point of contact for the Central Bank of Ireland for all compliance-related matters, including the preparation and submission of notifications and returns, responding to information requests and general queries, and coordinating reviews initiated by the CBIManagement of global insurance licenses (applications and renewals) and the maintenance of these licenses through quarterly and annual returnsWork closely with the data and MI teams in order to obtain MI to be passed on to HIDAC’s regulators worldwideProvide assistance to the wider compliance team, where EU matters impact other subfunctions within complianceConduct risk assessments and gap analysis of changes in regulations – highlighting the impacts on HIDACBe a member of the HIDAC Executive Committee, and prepare and present status reports for the Board and other committees (as well to the Global Head of Compliance)Work closely with the Global Head of Compliance to ensure shared compliance services are appropriate for HIDAC (including generic training, horizon scanning, compliance monitoring, financial crime and business conduct).
