Job Title: Project Manager (Public Sector)
VANRATH are assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation, in their search for an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of key projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* To assist the Senior Project Manager in managing and coordinating regional planned maintenance programmes.
* To lead on project management of complex and large projects to time, quality, and budget targets.
* To brief consultants and contractors, negotiate appointments, and shape project requirements.
* To draw up realistic timetables, ensuring projects meet time targets without compromising quality.
* To carry out feasibilities and option appraisals, maintaining systems to monitor project costs.
* To prepare reports and spreadsheets showing how costs are apportioned.
* To assess risks and progress schemes swiftly and systematically to overcome risks.
* To prepare and write reports on schemes for internal approval panels.
Requirements:
* A degree or equivalent Level 6* qualification in a Building/Construction related discipline plus 1 year's relevant experience.
* BTEC Higher or equivalent Level 5* qualification in a Building/Construction related discipline plus 2 years' relevant experience.
* Equivalent continuing professional development/experiential learning and at least 3 years' relevant experience.
Remuneration:
c£34,834 per annum, plus discount benefits.
