This position reports to the WUPSIL Director of Risk for Enterprise Risk Management function and will be responsible forassisting in the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of an enterprise-wide risk management program including risk identification, analysis, mitigation, tracking and reporting to executive management and the Board. The Enterprise Risk Management program is integral to the management of supporting leadership manage company-wide risk through informed decisions to achieve both short- and long-term strategic goals
Role Responsibilities
1. Assisting senior management in development, communication, and ongoing improvement of the Company’s Enterprise Risk Management program
2. Working directly with various business units and functions to identify and report potential risks and opportunities that exist within the Company’s operating environment
3. Develop and maintain a Global Risk Register and a summary of the organization’s enterprise (incl. environmental, financial, and conduct) risks and how they are being managed
4. Facilitating and supporting enterprise risk assessments and studies, providing research, analysis, advice, and other inputs as required
5. Establishing and implementing consistent set of key risk indicators/metrics by which enterprise risks can be tracked, monitored, assessed, and measured
6. Analyze KRI information to proactively identify risks and trends that require Executive Team's attention - Manage all aspects of the KRI register information (e.g. KRI owners, KRI source, KRI calculation)
7. Managing the development, enhancement, and periodic review and approval process for Risk Management related Charters (e.g. Executive Risk Committee, Risk Champions, etc.)
8. Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders within the first, second and third lines of defense, and drive agreement on actions to control and mitigate identified risks
9. Supporting development and creation of regular and ad hoc reporting and readouts to senior leadership (key risk indicators, scenario analysis, etc.)
10. Planning and facilitating risk workshops with middle, senior and executive management, where necessary
11. Assist senior management in identification of emerging risks, ensuring an effective risk management framework, and helping to influence firm’s risk culture
12. • Supporting identification, design, and implementation of an Integrated Risk Management tools to allow for a consolidated view of risk throughout the organization.
13. Support establishment and evolution of the Enterprise Risk Champions Network by preparing risk management training material, and conducting risk interviews with the Risk Champions
Role Requirements
14. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration
15. Experience in risk management within the financial services industry
16. Proven expertise in operational risk, compliance
17. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets
18. Excellent communication skills
19. Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
