Payroll Specialist - Cork - Hays Specialist Recruitment Ireland Ltd
This exciting hybrid role offers an opportunity to join the Payroll and HR Team as a Payroll Specialist.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Controller and be responsible for the following key duties:
* Manage the end-to-end payroll process for 170 employees on a weekly basis, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
* Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues, providing guidance and support while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
* Collaborate closely with the HR and Finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
* Participate in regular payroll audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
* Contribute to ad hoc finance projects as required.
Potential Support Tasks:
* HR Administration: Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed.
* Pension Enquiries: Assist employees with pension-related queries.
* Recruitment Process: Offer support during the recruitment process.
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in payroll, preferably within an Irish context.
* Irish payroll experience is essential.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* IPASS qualification is mandatory.
