Job Overview
Our client, a retail-based company specializing in the plumbing sector, seeks an experienced and dynamic Finance Manager to guide the financial direction of the company and support its growth and success.
The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance while maintaining high-quality and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting in the production of monthly management accounts to strict deadlines;
* Reporting group results and interfacing with other areas of the business to ensure timely submissions;
* Providing management support to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll departments;
* Developing and maintaining financial policies and procedures;
* Preparing cash flows, forecasts, and budgets at a group and local level;
* Adhering to all Revenue submission deadlines;
* Becoming a Subject Matter Expert on business ERP systems impacting finance.
Core Skills:
* Recognized qualification (CIMA/CPA/ACA/ACCA);
* 3-5 years PQE in practice or industry;
* Versatility in MS Office, mainly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
* Experience in People/Team Management;
* Technical knowledge of financial compliance requirements;
* Experience dealing with external stakeholders;
* Production of annual statutory accounts and exposure to IFRS 16.
Desirable Skills:
* Similar experience in the Retail industry;
* Track record of delivering on finance projects;
* Working knowledge of large software solutions (ERPs such as Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics etc.)
