Description
The lady Helen Restaurant in Manor House at Mount Juliet Estate will have a Full-Time vacancy for a Commis Chef to join the team.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year's experience working in a busy hotel or restaurant. Shift work and weekend work are an essential part of this role. Flexibility is required in this position. You must speak basic - fluent English and work to a high standard.
Candidates must be available to work flexible shifts including weekends.
Duties:
* Food Preparation
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene
* Taking directions from both Executive Chef and Senior Chef
* Ensuring co-operation with HACCP Standards at all times
* Ensuring the hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation
* Display excellence in food preparation and service
* Work effectively as part of a team
* Ensure a professional, friendly and courteous service
Requirements:
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Fine dining experience is essential.
* 5 day working week
* Good communication skills
* Willingness to work shift work and weekends as required
* One year in a similar role
