Mount Juliet Estate, a Marriott Autograph Collection Property, has a fantastic vacancy for a Commis Chef to join their team.
Shift work and weekend work are an essential part of this role. Flexibility is required in this position. You must speak basic to fluent English and work to a high standard.
Duties:
* Food Preparation
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene
* Taking directions from both Executive Chef and Senior Chef
* Ensuring co-operation with HACCP Standards at all times
* Ensuring the hygiene and food safety standards are met in all stages of food preparation
* Display excellence in food preparation and service
* Work effectively as part of a team
* Ensure a professional, friendly and courteous service
The successful candidate will:
* Have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Have good communication skills.
* Be willing to work shift work and weekends as required.
* Be willing to work as part of a team.
* Have one year of experience in a similar role.
