About the role
We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive our European procurement strategy. As Vice President of Procurement, reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer for the region, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping procurement strategies that align with Kerry’s broader business goals, ensuring excellence in sourcing, supplier relationships, and innovation.
Key responsibilities
* Develop and execute a forward-looking procurement strategy to support our business growth and sustainability objectives.
* Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and accountability.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, product technology, finance, and market teams, to optimize procurement processes and drive competitive advantage.
* Implement world-class procurement systems and processes that enhance spend visibility, supplier performance, and value creation.
* Oversee end-to-end pricing, margin management, and category strategies that drive profitability and cash performance.
* Ensure procurement plays a critical role in supporting supply chain continuity and mitigating risks through proactive planning.
* Champion supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives, embedding responsible sourcing across the organization.
* Spearhead digital and automation transformations within procurement to unlock operational efficiencies and elevate value delivery.
Qualifications, skills and experience
* Several years of progressive experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a similar function, with a proven track record at executive level in the Ingredients, Food and Beverage, or Food Service industries.
* Bachelor’s degree in a related field, advanced degree is preferred.
* Demonstrable success in leading procurement transformations and delivering measurable results in a complex, matrixed environment.
* Strong business acumen with an ability to influence at all levels and foster strong cross-functional relationships.
* Experience with large-scale, multi-category spend management and an ability to drive innovation through strategic supplier partnerships.
* Exceptional leadership skills with a collaborative, resilient, and positive attitude.
* Experience driving sustainability initiatives and aligning procurement with broader business objectives.
* Ability to navigate and lead in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
