About the Role
We invite applications for the position of Acting Deputy Head of Counselling – Specific Purpose Contract. This role plays a critical part in supporting the well-being of our students and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* To assist the Head of Counselling in overseeing the development and implementation of counselling services across the university.
* To contribute to the strategic planning and delivery of counselling services, ensuring alignment with the university's objectives.
* To work collaboratively with academic and support staff to promote student well-being and academic success.
* To develop and maintain effective relationships with external partners and stakeholders to support the provision of high-quality counselling services.
Requirements
* Degree in Counselling or related field.
* Professional qualification in Counselling (e.g., Diploma in Counselling).
* Minimum 5 years' experience in Counselling, preferably in a higher education setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
