Main Purpose of Role:
Murphy is recruiting for a Quality Advisor to work with the Quality Team and support Projects across Ireland.

Role Duties:
1. Implement our Quality Strategy across the business.
2. Establish and promote best practices in quality matters in conjunction with the Quality function.
3. Ensure that all personnel are aware of their statutory duties and responsibilities, and provide advice as required.
4. Support site management teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the Quality Plans.
5. Carry out regular inspections/audits of sites and workplaces to ensure compliance with Company Policy, Procedures and other stated requirements.
6. Assist with delivering Quality training/toolbox talks across the business.
7. Promote the reporting of nonconformances and provide advice on closing out actions.
8. Collate and review Business / Contract Quality statistics in a timely manner for reporting purposes.
9. Review Quality statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
10. Represent Murphy at meetings or interviews regarding construction quality.
11. Develop and implement Quality campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with Quality Management.
12. Provide support to Project teams in the development of Quality Plans.
13. Produce Quality plans, procedures and associated documentation and check compliance.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Experience within a Quality role or a similar role.
2. Preferably a member of Chartered Quality Institute (CQI).
3. MS package knowledge (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project).
4. Solid understanding of the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
5. Previous experience within an Engineering or Construction environment.
6. Full Driving Licence.
7. Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Enthusiastic, detailed, and dynamic problem solver with good technical ability.
9. Ability to clearly articulate problems and generate reports.
10. Team player promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
11. Able to educate and train others on quality-related matters.
12. Ability to inspire, influence and engage with operational teams.
