Title: Accounts Assistant (Part-time, 20 hours per week)
Location: Coolock, Dublin 17
Terms: Part-time permanent, office-based, Monday-Friday, 9/10am to 1/2pm
Package: €15-20 per hour with on-site parking
An established Coolock based Freight Forwarding company is now seeking to hire an experienced Accounts Assistant on a part-time basis working 20 hours per week working mornings. Applicants should have their own transport, a minimum of 2 years recent accounts assistant experience and be proficient with Excel.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Account payable and receivable.
2. Daily post and processing.
3. Processing weekly supplier invoices, receipts & payments.
4. Dealing with supplier payments.
5. Creditor reconciliation.
6. Raising queries and credit requests with suppliers.
7. Debtors collections and reconciliation.
8. Dealing with customer/supplier queries.
9. Bank reconciliations.
10. Credit Card processing.
11. Preparing information for VAT Returns.
12. Assisting with month-end Management accounts.
13. Various ad-hoc duties and reports.
Essential Requirements:
1. Min of 2 years’ recent experience in an accounting/booking position.
2. Strong Excel skills (Min 2-year experience).
3. Own transport (parking available).
4. Strong emphasis on Customer Service.
5. Excellent communication skills with fluency in English.
6. Solid planning and organisational skills.
7. Attention to detail ensuring correct data is entered and completing checks to ensure compliance.
