FRS Recruitment is working with a leading Irish Agri Coop to fill the role of Agri Purchasing Coordinator. This full-time permanent position suits candidates from Agri, Farming, Construction, Hardware or General Stores backgrounds.
Main Responsibilities
* Stores Role: Perform daily store duties at the central store and yard.
* Buyer Role: Collaborate with the purchasing manager on purchasing and supplying stock for 20 business units across Ireland.
* Stock System Maintenance Role: Ensure accurate stock control, update relevant information on the Stock management System, and maintain a safe, tidy, and proper store and yard environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Unload, check, and store all deliveries arriving in stock.
* Prepare, load, and dispatch orders to customers.
* Operate a Forklift and Teleporter to load and unload trucks.
* Maintain the store and yard in a safe, tidy, and proper condition.
* Perform duties related to the development and growth of an Online Shop.
Purchasing Responsibilities:
* Liaise with Managers and stores staff nationwide on material requirements, pricing, and product changes.
* Issue requests, quotes, and proposals for materials considering quality, price, and lead time.
* Coordinate shipment and logistics for smooth and timely delivery of goods.
* Research new products that can benefit the business.
Stock System Maintenance Responsibilities:
* Record all transactions on the IT stock control system.
* Generate purchase orders for centrally held stock and stores across the country.
* Maintain and reconcile the Stock System and price database.
* Complete regular Stocktakes and update the Stock System.
* Maintain the Online Shop database in an efficient manner.
