Project Manager - Banking Transformation Dublin About the Company: Morgan McKinley are working with a forward-thinking financial institution seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead a transformative change program.
This is a key role in driving the business forward through the implementation of new banking systems, products, and digital assets, all aimed at significantly enhancing the customer experience.
The Role: The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a comprehensive business roadmap, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with our strategic objectives, quality standards, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Lead a major transformation program, overseeing multiple projects and initiatives focused on new banking systems, product launches, and digital asset integration.
Develop and execute a clear, actionable roadmap to ensure successful project delivery and contribute to long-term business growth and operational efficiency.
Manage end-to-end project management activities, including planning, scoping, resourcing, scheduling, and budgeting.
Drive coordination and collaboration across business, technology, and operational teams to ensure a unified approach to project delivery.
Establish clear project milestones, performance metrics, and key deliverables.
Proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, implementing effective mitigation and resolution strategies.
Engage with senior leadership and key stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Provide regular and transparent reporting on project progress, risks, and issues.
Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure alignment of deliverables with overall project goals.
Lead project teams, ensuring clarity of objectives, timelines, and individual responsibilities, while fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Implement effective change management practices to drive organisational acceptance of new systems, processes, and products.
Support business readiness by facilitating training, communication, and support strategies for smooth transitions.
Monitor and evaluate the success of change initiatives, ensuring achievement of business goals and delivery of expected benefits.
Drive the adoption of project management best practices, leading knowledge transfer and project post-mortems for continuous improvement.
About You: A proven track record of successfully leading projects within the financial services sector, with specific experience in banking systems, digital products, and customer-centric initiatives.
Strong understanding and experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Project Management certification is highly desirable.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex organisational change, driving the adoption of new systems and processes across diverse teams.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels, including executives, business units, and external partners.
Knowledge of the financial services industry, including banking operations, digital asset management, and regulatory requirements, is desirable.
