Objectives & Responsibilities:
Consultation
1. Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings.
2. Generate leads, and establish and nurture client relationships.
3. Maintain/Create/Update the sales and documentation workflows.
4. Deal with sales representative escalations (i.e. difficult customer, complaints etc.).
5. Attend conferences and exhibitions when required to identify opportunities.
6. Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives.
7. Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and making forecasts.
8. Manage recruiting, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives.
9. Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them.
10. Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with the sales team to set objectives and monitor progress.
11. Track sales team KPIs.
12. Conduct performance reviews of the sales representatives.
Strategist
1. Research consumer needs and identify how our solutions address them.
2. Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team.
3. Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
4. Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
5. Develop skills continuously for hiring, training, and leading team members, ensuring effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.
6. Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's global reach.
7. Manage the month-end and year-end close processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Time management and prioritising workload, crucial for handling multiple customer inquiries and managing online sales operations efficiently.
2. Excellent customer service skills, essential for providing personalised support and ensuring customer satisfaction both in-store and online.
3. People management skills to effectively lead and motivate a team of sales representatives and ecommerce staff.
4. Negotiation skills to secure favourable deals with suppliers and vendors, ensuring competitive pricing and quality products.
5. Reporting skills using CRM (Customer Relationship Management) systems and Excel to create accurate sales and performance reports, vital for strategic decision-making.
6. Presenting skills to effectively communicate product features, promotions, and company updates to customers and stakeholders.
7. Five or more years of experience in managing sales in a retail or ecommerce setting, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry dynamics and customer preferences.
8. Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from strategic planning to closing sales, ensuring consistent revenue growth.
9. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills to foster positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members.
10. Superb leadership ability to inspire and guide a team towards achieving sales targets and operational excellence.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
1. Motivational speaking experience to inspire sales teams and boost morale during challenging periods.
2. Familiarity with CRM systems and their workflows, enhancing efficiency in customer relationship management and sales tracking.
3. Proven success rate exceeding sales quotas, demonstrating a track record of exceptional performance and goal achievement in a retail or e-commerce environment.
Remuneration Package
If you accept this offer, you will be eligible for the following benefits in accordance with our company’s policies:
1. Annual gross salary: €32k - €35k, paid in weekly instalments by direct bank transfer.
2. Working hours: 40-48 hours per week, Monday to Sunday inclusive (subject to operational needs of the business).
3. Sales performance bonus: Eligible after the successful completion of the trial period.
4. Stock performance bonus
5. Company pension scheme: Contribution towards your retirement savings.
6. Travel expenses: Reimbursed for business-related travel.
7. Paid time off: 20 annual holidays plus 11 bank holidays.
8. Paid bank holidays: Or double pay if required to work on those days.
