Phlebotomy Technology Specialist Technical Certificate of Credit
The Phlebotomy Technology Specialist program educates students to collect blood and process blood and body fluids. Phlebotomy technicians typically work in concert with clinical laboratory personnel and other healthcare providers in hospitals or other healthcare facilities. Topics covered include human anatomy, anatomical terminology, venipuncture, and clinical practice.
Students may enter the Phlebotomy Technology Specialist certificate program any semester. A full-time student can complete this program in 2 semesters. To graduate, students must earn a minimum of 17semester credit hours.
