Your Opportunity:
This role is to be a key player in the compliance team and facilitate AMMEL in meeting all of its regulatory obligations as an Irish Fund management company.
We have detailed below the key components of the role and what you can expect to partake in on a day-to-day basis:
Main Responsibilities:

* Operate as a member of the Architas Compliance team and provide advice and guidance related to relevant legislative requirements/ changes.
* Draft company policies (and related procedures) in line with legal & regulatory requirements
* Complete stakeholder reporting including KPIs, to both local and group forums and collate such reporting on behalf of all Architas entities
* Collaborate with Architas group colleagues on cross border regulatory projects
* As required, represent the Compliance Dept. at key business committees
* Support AMMEL in meeting all of its regulatory obligations.
* Encourage and support a compliance focused culture throughout Architas.
* As the firm and its products are subject to both home and host regulator requirement, ensure that all reporting obligations are fulfilled.
You Will Be Working For Us If:
* Relevant experience working within an Investment Firm, Fund Management Company, Fund Administrator, Depositary or Professional Services Firm
* Experience in a compliance / control function role preferable
* Third level degree and/or relevant qualifications such as the association of compliance officer's qualification preferable
The Ideal Candidate Should Have:
* Knowledge and experience of the local regulatory environment applicable to a Fund Management Company, including knowledge of the following legislative frameworks: UCITS, AIFMD, MiFID, MAR, EMIR & IAF
* Expert Knowledge of both the Irish Anti-money Laundering / CFT legislative Framework and the GDPR requirements would be an advantage
* Experience in drafting and implementing both policies / procedures and compliance monitoring plan / control reviews
* Experience in managing Central Bank of Ireland regulatory returns preferable, and use of the CBI Portal system
* Ability to understand and interpret regulatory requirements
* Excellent oral / written communication skills including report writing skills
* Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
* Strong analytical skills
* Excellent time management skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks in deadline-driven environment
* Good understanding of project management principles and approaches
* Have excellent interpersonal skills and experience of fostering an environment of teamwork and trust
