Job Description
Project Management Group is an international company delivering projects across Europe, the USA, and Asia.
We provide project management, process design, facility design, construction management, and commissioning and qualification services for leading multinational clients.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed project scopes based on manufacturing or process area requests, applying value engineering where possible.
* Identify and evaluate MCCs/electrical installations, integrity, and efficiency improvements.
* Define electrical requirements for capital projects, interacting with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and contractors.
* Ensure project execution focuses on safety, schedule, and cost management while adhering to good engineering practices, company policies, and applicable regulations and codes.
* Coordinate with construction management and equipment vendors.
* Maintain strict adherence to safe working practices as outlined in the safety statement and other company safety rules.
* Install and commission GMP and non-GMP, manufacturing, and utility systems.
* Support the validation/qualification of GMP equipment.
* Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality departments to troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A relevant third-level degree in electronics, electrical, instrumentation, or a related field.
* Experience in delivering electrical projects in complex manufacturing facilities within highly automated GMP production environments (c. 8-10 years).
* The ability to read, understand, and fault-find electrical schematics/systems during FATs or on-site commissioning.
* Knowledge and experience of hazardous area and ATEX requirements would be advantageous.
* Instrumentation, automation, and control knowledge with project upgrade experience of PLCs/BMS/SCADA/DCS (HVAC BMS upgrades/process safety upgrades, etc.).
* A strong understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) principles.
* Excellent communication and organization skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization from project teams to site leadership.
* Strong computer MS Office skills (PP, Word, Excel, etc.).
