Within this role you'll be responsible for performing EHS tasks as required to ensure Regeneron's compliance with Environmental Health and Safety regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.
A typical day might include, but is not limited to, the following:
1. Maintaining an EHS Management System Programme with specific emphasis on safe systems of work programmes including permit to work
2. Assisting with the development and implementing appropriate emergency plans and response capabilities as directed by ERT Lead
3. Working with IOPS Raheen stakeholders to ensure EHS programs are implemented within their relevant department
4. Leading EHS audits and inspections, and coordinate follow up on findings with the appropriate agencies or groups
5. Staying abreast of new and updated EHS regulations, including new industry developments (i.e. best practices)
6. Building relationships with key departments to foster support for a strong EHS culture
This role may be for you if:
1. You have a thorough knowledge of EHS legislation for a pharmaceutical facility operating within Ireland/Europe
2. You bring Operational Safety Experience: Safe Systems of Work
3. You show the ability to logically solve problems
4. You pose excellent interpersonal and communication skills coupled with good ability to produce technical reports
To be considered for this opportunity you should have a Dip / BS/ BA in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or related field with 6+ years of experience working in an EHS role within the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
