Job Title: Senior Accountant

This role reports directly to the Financial Controller and is responsible for producing accurate management and financial accounts for the business.

Key Responsibilities:
* Monthly Management Accounts: Preparation and production of timely and accurate management accounts.
* Ledger Management: Effective management of the creditors ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness in month-end closing processes.
* Annual Accounts: Preparation of annual accounts for auditing purposes, providing assistance to external auditors as required.
* Expertise: Provision of accounting and taxation expertise to the Financial Controller and senior management team.
* Bank Reconciliations: Preparation and management of bank reconciliations, debtors reconciliations, and creditors reconciliations.
* Fixed Asset Registers: Maintenance of accurate Fixed Asset Registers.
* Reporting: Provision of weekly and monthly reports to the Financial Controller, Senior Leadership Team, and relevant government agencies as needed.
* Ad-hoc Duties: Assignment of ad-hoc duties based on experience and competence.
Candidate Requirements:
* A qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar)
* A minimum of 5 years post-qualified experience, preferably from within a manufacturing organization
* Attention to detail to ensure completeness and accuracy of information
* Excellent MS Office skills, with advanced skills in Excel
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* High level of communication skills, both written and verbal
* Familiarity with ERP systems would be an advantage
