We're looking for a senior person to join our Irish team.
Someone who is an expert in quantitative research but also has a good understanding of qualitative too.
This will either be a strong Associate Director or Director level role (depending on experience) and will offer a great opportunity for the right person to come on board and support Spark in growing our quant capabilities in Ireland, as well as supporting with commercial client growth too.
This role will report to the Head of Research and be supported by a team of qual, quant and data specialists.
This role is based in Ireland but we may consider applicants from the UK also.
This role isn't 'just another quant director' role; therefore, we're not just looking for 'just another quant director'.
We're looking for someone who can come on board and get involved in a variety of things across Spark, offering the opportunity to get stuck into client development and commercial growth of the agency.
We're looking for the right blend of skillset and attitude – both what you do and how you do it are equally important in Spark, and we're looking for someone who can represent the Spark brand to clients, the market and internally too.
While we're looking to bring someone in to strengthen our quant skillset, this role will involve a lot of other skillsets including:
The ability to deliver strong and insightful mixed methodology projects – our work often involves blended qual and quant solutions and this role will be the client face of these projects, making sure they are delivered on time, to an exceptional standard and within budget.Translating insight into actionable solutions and outcomes for our clients – taking the research from the What to the Now What, using our What3 approach to research delivery.Representing the Spark brand and our values to the highest level both internally and externally – naturally and confidently displaying bubbly, collaborative, creative and 'professionally informal' behaviours and communication styles.Working in partnership with clients at a senior level – using your research, insight, market and commercial expertise to support them to make better decisions, grounded in insight.Getting stuck in.
We're a medium-sized agency, so we've got all of the benefits of agile working without the complicated layers of a larger agency, but it also means that at times we're all hands on deck to deliver the work as a team.
We're looking for someone who can do as well as lead, with the support of a wider team of researchers.Shaping, pitching and winning work from both existing and new clients – showcasing our expertise, providing them with the comfort that we can support them with what they need, and setting us apart from our competitors.Being a leader within the wider Spark and Audience Collective team – we're an agile agency and we're looking for someone who can help us to shape everything we do; from processes to solutions, training, systems, and innovation and everything in between.Ideally; strong knowledge of the Irish market, brands, nuances and competitive and commercial landscape – this experience will be essential for supporting and growing quantitative research and our Irish client base.
This role will also support across international and UK quant too.Ultimately support Spark with commercial thinking, capabilities and support our overall growth – we're looking for someone with an opinion but who can work closely collaboratively with clients, Sparkies and the wider Audience Collective group to make a real difference to both delivery and commercial performance.We offer flexible and hybrid working solutions including core hours for meetings, a 9-day fortnight working compressed hours, and a great benefits package including competitive salary (benchmarked against the market), pension contributions, 25 days holiday + closed over Christmas and generally a nice culture of teamwork and collaboration.
