Job Title: QAQC Lead E&I
Location: Belgium
Role description:
Provide direct support to ensure that a Project Quality Management System has been established, implemented, and continually improved to meet project deliverables.
Acts as delegate to the Project Quality Manager (PQM) for all matters relating to Quality Management, resources, and development of Quality personnel allocated to the project.
Specific Objectives:
* Perform project specific quality management, assurance and control activities as detailed in the Project Quality Plan and as directed and instructed by the Project Quality Manager.
* Promote an enthusiastic Assurance culture that delivers positive commitment to, and engages all employees in, continuous performance improvement.
* Pro-actively support the PQM and provides guidance to the project team to achieve project quality deliverables.
* Ensure Preservation Management is adequately managed for all purchased equipment as directed by the PQM.
Reporting to: Randridge Project Quality Manager
Details of position:
* Lead and direct a team consisting of a Quality Co-Ordinator and inspectors as required by the project.
* Provide Quality input to Technical Bid evaluations.
* Provide Quality input to equipment specifications.
* Attend Senior Management Reviews of the QMS when requested by PQM/RR.
* Attend Client Quality Meetings.
* Promptly report quality concerns to PQM/RR.
* Review Quality Control Plan / Inspection Test Plans to include surveillance points as required by the project.
* Attend bid clarification, kick-off, pre-inspection meetings as required by the project.
* Assist in the close-out of Quality Risks.
* Assist project process owners in establishing their delivery process and procedures.
* Liaise with client third parties and their regulatory bodies as requested by the PQM/RR.
* Liaise with the client on all matters relating to Project Quality Management.
* Participates in the internal audits schedule, preparing, reporting and closing out audit reports and actions resulting from the audit.
* Provide input and support the subcontractor/supplier evaluation processes and monitor subcontractor/supplier performance.
* Manage the internal audits schedule in collaboration with the PQM.
* Manage the external audit schedule in collaboration with the PQM/RR.
* Drive Progressive Learning within the Project.
* Follow up audit actions and ensure systems are in place to track closure, identify trends and report updates on a monthly basis.
* Drive Improvement Initiatives within the project.
* Drive close-out of non-conformances/CAPA’s and ensure systems are in place to identify trends or overdue actions and report updates on a monthly basis.
* Participates in project meetings.
* Mentor Quality Co-Ordinator and Inspectors.
* Ensure that all necessary quality records are identified, controlled and retained in accordance with project, client and regulatory requirements.
* Ensure the Preservation Management Program is successfully implemented as directed by the PQM/RR.
* Reports to the PM with functional support from the Group QM.
* Needs to be 100% Electrical, Coms and Instrumentation orientated within the Petro Chemical industry/ Hazardous area and APEX/Compex qualified.
* This is a sole source person and initially will not have other team support.
Occasional Duties:
* Contribute towards the development of company QMS.
* Provide support to function and/or other projects as necessary.
* Promotes the use of Quality Tools / Techniques to supports business improvements.
* Travel to support business needs.
* Provide support to Tenders as necessary.
Essential Criteria for the Role:
* Petrochemical experience
* E&I experience
* Computer literacy in Microsoft applications i.e., SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
* Advantageous if the individual was CompEx Ex01-Ex04 certified
