Global Pharmaceutical company, based in Cork, Ireland – looking for Project Engineer.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all activities required to support project scoping, commissioning, qualification, validation and start-up operations on the site.
The Job:
1. Lead the delivery of Engineering projects on time, on budget & in accordance with all project & business Safety & Quality goals.
2. Scope new Engineering projects & secure Capital approvals.
3. Lead, support and participate in commissioning and qualification activities.
4. Updating & influencing management and project stakeholders.
5. Coordination of project interfaces with other projects and departments.
6. Coordination of and interfaces with third parties (suppliers, customers, service providers, etc.).
7. Coordination of project documentation.
8. Cost Estimation (creation, tracking, updating, auditing vs actual Costs, forecasting).
9. Project Scheduling (creation, tracking, updating, review vs current state, forecasting).
10. Project progress reporting & Risk Management.
11. Constructability- & Maintainability-/Operability-studies.
12. Checking the current condition of systems (structural, E&I as well as safety, permitting and documentation).
Have You:
1. Third level qualification in Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Science.
2. Experience of delivering engineering projects within a GMP regulated environment.
3. Qualification in Project Management.
4. Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
5. Experience of SAP, LIM’s and/or other business systems.
6. 6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem solving/decision making methodology training.
7. Experience of working within an engineer team in a multinational corporate environment.
8. Interface at with all site departments, Operations, Maintenance, Facilities, Quality, MSAT, Commissioning/Qualification and Training departments. Contact with other company sites.
The successful candidate must have eligible working VISA in Ireland or European Union (EU) passport.
