Job Description
Joining a team of five, the Accounts Administrator has excellent attention to detail, accuracy and is a self motivator. The Accounts administrator has strong excel skills and a professional manner for dealing with Commercial Customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Monitor/process/verify skip and bin data to ensure billing accuracy
2. Follow up with drivers to clarify billing queries
3. Ensuring customers have correct invoice documentation
4. Dealing with customers in a professional and helpful manner
5. Ensure all tasks are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
6. Keep all filing up to date and accurate at all times
7. Generate customer reports and sales reports and analysis as agreed
8. Prepare weekly/monthly transaction reconciliation reports
9. Assist in month end close off
10. Identify and implement system/process improvements
11. Ensure there is smooth administration between various departments
12. Work with management and the accounts team on various business projects
13. Identify and implement cost reduction activities/processes
14. Any other ad hoc administrative duties as they may arise
Qualification:
15. The successful candidate will hold a Business Degree and/or an equivalent Accounting qualification
16. Demonstrated the ability to collate accurate information, analyse it and report it in a manner that can be used by Management in business decision making
17. Attention to detail, commercial and common-sense approach to problem solving.
18. Professional with strong interpersonal skills
19. The ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
20. Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads
21. The ability to communicate effectively orally and written with management, staff, customers
22. Excellent organisation and administrative skills
23. Be highly motivated
24. Proven analytical skills and reporting ability is essential
25. Excellent ability to learn and become proficient in the company I.T. systems
26. Proficiency expected in Microsoft Office Suite particularly Excel
