Job Title: Derivatives Operations Analyst
This is a key role within the Accounting & Operations Department, responsible for a broad range of functions including fund accounting, operations, position, P&L and exposure reporting, valuation, risk management design and reporting, and liquidity management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily OTC derivatives relationships with ISDA counterparties.
* Review cash reconciliation daily, matching off payments and pre-confirming scheduled settlements.
* Review position reconciliation daily, matching off new trades and addressing any position breaks.
* Daily review of position reconciliation for non DTC positions at prime broker and custodian.
* Issue/agree to daily Variation and Initial Margin calls.
* Monthly review and settlement of collateral interest.
* Monthly obtain appropriate support pricing of CDS and other products.
* Supporting trading desk and wider teams with ad hoc queries.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent required.
* 2-4 years of either a fund administration role in middle or back office of an asset manager, fund services provider, or investment bank industry experience across investment operations.
* Strong analytical and Excel skills with ability to handle large data sets.
* Attention to detail and ability to organize priorities, resolve issues, and escalate when appropriate.
* Must be a self-starter and quick learner.
* Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
* Must be highly motivated and able to work in a global team environment.
* Able to work well under pressure.
