My client is an Irish owned cost consultancy who have offices nationwide and a great pipeline of projects.
They currently have 20 Quantity Surveyors in the business, and they are growing the team on all levels from junior to associate.
They are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious intermediate Quantity Surveyor that demonstrates strong organisational/managerial skills and a pro-active attitude.
The successful candidate will have good reporting and communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment and be computer literate.
Duties:Pre-contract cost control and advise to Design Teams and ClientsPre-contract document preparationAll post contract functions including; interim recommendations, cost reporting, Client meetings, final account reconciliations on a diverse range of projectsResponsibility for training and development of assistant and junior Quantity Surveyors as part of team structureEstimating & Cost Planning reporting directly to ClientsPreparing Bills of QuantitiesCompiling Contract DocumentationPreparing Cost ReportsPreparing Monthly ValuationsPreparation and Agreement of Final AccountsReview and Resolve Contractual ClaimsAttend Meetings with Clients and Design Team MembersRequirements:Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics3+ years of experience ideally with a consultancyAmbition to get chartershipTeam playerStrong computer skillsIf you want to apply for this role, click the link below or contact Mark Barrett on ******
