Job Summary
A Accommodation Supervisor is responsible for supervising the activities of associates to ensure a high degree of excellence in guest rooms, corridors, and service areas. The role involves ensuring turndown service is carried out to the highest standard, maintaining compliance with Marriott Operating Standards, and striving to meet or exceed customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in daily operational duties of the Accommodation department.
* Ensure compliance with Marriott Operating Standards.
* Meet or exceed customer expectations.
* Assist in maintaining the Marriott culture.
* Manage operating budget and capital expenditure budget.
* Lead meetings in absence of Executive or Assistant Accommodation Manager.
* Handle guest complaints through the LEARN process.
* Maintain professional image and ensure associates comply with uniform and grooming policy.
* Train Accommodation Assistants and Floor Porters.
* Assign special duties and inspect vacant ready rooms.
* Check public and back-of-house areas for repairs and cleanliness.
* Communicate with Front Office regarding departures and room moves.
* Complete key checks and log discrepancies.
Requirements
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Good organizational and hospitality skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Knowledge of Marriott standards and procedures.
