A leading financial services company, with a global presence, is seeking a Senior FP&A to join its finance team. The company operates in wholesale banking, providing capital markets and corporate services to clients worldwide. The role will support the FP&A function, as well as financial control tasks, in order to enhance the efficiency of the European finance team.
Responsibilities:
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes for European entities
* Own the annual expense survey process and scrutinise allocations between entities
* Perform detailed variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance
* Assist with the preparation of management reports and dashboards
* Automate and standardise management reports to focus on value-added activities
* Collaborate with business units to validate variances and collect data
* Produce daily P&L reports and substantiate key drivers
* Maintain relationships with key business and finance partners
* Review cost recovery and revenue-sharing agreements within TD affiliates
* Provide ad-hoc analysis on material drivers
* Contribute to statutory accounts preparation in compliance with IFRS
* Support external audits and provide accurate financial data
* Prepare and post journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monitor bank accounts
Requirements:
* Accounting or industry-specific qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA)
* Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial reporting tools (e.g., Hyperion, PeopleSoft, PowerBI)
* Minimum of 4+ years' experience in finance, accounting, or audit
* Financial services experience, preferably within global markets or banking
