Job Title: EHS Engineer

As a talented EHS Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees while supporting the company's goals for innovation and growth.
Responsibilities:
* Initiate and complete activities leading to new/improved safety methods with significant impact potential at project level.
* Participate in training, audits, incident reporting, assessments, and safety projects.
* Develop a network of support to facilitate completion of assignments across different teams.
* Provide safety consulting services and analyze/report key health and safety data to senior level coworkers.
* Collaborate with management to define project parameters and develop correction plans.
* Lead activities relating to Risk Management by managing site risk assessment schedule and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
* Potentially lead teams within the assigned business unit, providing technical assistance and guidance to others.
* Determine processes relating to Management of Change to ensure EHS requirements are considered for all new projects.
* Create an EHS excellence culture by promoting and supporting the site's sustainability and environmental management program.
* Support business units and EHS Champions to interpret and understand EHS requirements and monitor compliance.
Requirements:
* EHS Degree or equivalent qualification; NEBOSH General Certificate preferred.
* Strong understanding and implementation experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements.
* At least 2-3 years of experience working within a busy manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical environment.
* High level of interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration.
* Commitment to promoting an EHS excellence culture and supporting sustainability initiatives within the organization.
Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
