Senior QA Test Manager Job Description
Our client, a dynamic consultancy practice, is seeking an experienced Senior QA Test Manager to help build and grow their test consultant practice in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables.
2. Manage testing phases across diverse projects, collaborating with stakeholders to define testing requirements and expectations.
3. Develop and manage test plans aligning with organisational goals, driving innovation in testing methodologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
4. Oversee defect tracking, reporting, and resolution processes, mentoring and guiding junior team members to foster a culture of excellence.
5. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment.
Requirements:
* Minimum 8 years experience in a QA/Test Management role.
* Proven ability to lead large-scale testing initiatives across complex environments.
* Good experience of Bid Management and tender proposals.
* Previous experience of winning new test businesses.
* Strong understanding of both functional and non-functional testing frameworks.
* Experience with automation tools and strategies.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Skills:
* Previous Consultancy practice experience.
* Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
* ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager certification.
* Hands-on experience with test management tools such as Jira or TestRail.
* Background in consultancy or service-based organisations.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
