Responsibilities
1. Supervise staff and contractors delivering signalling installation activities.
2. Monitor daily work for safety, quality, and productivity.
3. Support allocated resources with experience and technical solutions.
4. Ensure staff have the required plant and equipment, fit for use.
5. Undertake work planning and produce site paperwork in compliance with company, project, and client requirements.
6. Identify and propose possessions, contribute to the planning process, and attend possession meetings as needed.
7. Monitor site for safe working practices and potential risks, challenging poor behaviours and unsafe acts.
8. Effectively communicate task requirements to staff in compliance with Alstom EHS policies and AZDP.
9. Complete material ordering documentation as required.
10. Process work sheets and support the production of RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements).
11. Carry out site audits and inspections, including tool inspections, vehicle inspections, team briefings, and risk assessments.
Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience
1. Experience of working on Civil Engineering Projects (Roads, Highways, Piling, Earthworks, Bridges).
2. Good communication skills.
3. Knowledge of the risk assessment process.
4. Experience in industry-related Health, Safety, and Environmental courses.
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
