You will be responsible for producing high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods while ensuring consistency, innovation, and excellent presentation.
The ideal candidate has experience in pastry arts, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and present a variety of high-quality desserts, pastries, and baked goods in line with the establishment's standards.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal and special event offerings.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all pastry items.
Manage daily pastry production, adhering to recipes, portion control, and quality standards.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize waste.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is used safely and efficiently.
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring compliance with HACCP standards.
Adapt recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions and guest preferences.
Stay updated on industry trends and introduce new techniques and ideas into the pastry program.
Support the broader kitchen team as needed and perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a restaurant, hotel, or bakery setting.
Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and baking fundamentals.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Creativity and a passion for pastry innovation.
Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
