Job Title: Technical Manager

Our client, a leading food producer, is seeking a skilled Technical Manager to join their team and play a pivotal role in upholding and enhancing their quality and compliance standards.
The successful candidate will oversee all technical and quality assurance activities. You will ensure that they consistently meet key industry certifications, including BRC, Global GAP, and Bord Bia, while managing the upkeep of our HACCP system and leading internal audits throughout the year.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure compliance with BRC, Global GAP, Bord Bia, and other industry certifications.
2. Maintain and manage the HACCP system, ensuring best practices are followed across all operations.
3. Conduct and manage internal audits to ensure ongoing compliance and operational efficiency.
4. Lead and support the continuous improvement of quality systems and processes.
5. Collaborate closely with the production teams to identify opportunities for enhancing product quality and operational performance.
6. Provide training and guidance on quality assurance processes to the team.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
1. Strong working knowledge of the food industry with hands-on experience in quality assurance, production, or a related field.
2. Proven experience managing quality assurance systems aligned with internationally recognized standards (BRC, Global GAP, Bord Bia, or similar).
3. HACCP trained and certified.
4. Previous experience in the fresh produce sector is highly desirable.
