Our client, a single source supplier and solutions provider to customers operating in critically clean and controlled environments, is looking for a Technical Operative to join their team in Kildare. The successful candidate will support both operational and administrative functions with a focus on stock management and replenishment. This role is ideal for candidates with a general operative background and experience in inventory control, data entry, and computer systems.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Equipment Maintenance: Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs, as well as manual repairs when required.
2. Equipment Installation: Install, relocate, and configure equipment as needed.
3. Stock Management: Receive, check, count, and organize incoming goods. Conduct stock checks and cycle counts, ensuring accuracy. Maintain proper stock levels in designated cabinets by managing replenishment and ensuring items are correctly restocked. Use Excel and internal computerized systems to manage inventory and order parts.
4. Order Fulfilment: Pick and pack customer orders within agreed timeframes and deliver items to designated points of use.
5. System Operations: Operate various computerized systems and software applications for inventory and project management.
6. Project Support: Manage and complete assigned project tasks within specified deadlines.
Ideally experienced in:
1. Background in general operative roles, with familiarity in stock replenishment processes and data entry.
2. Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with various internal software applications.
3. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data entry and inventory control.
4. Desk-Based Tasks: Comfortable in a predominantly desk-based role, with occasional physical tasks such as organizing stock.
5. Organization Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively within tight deadlines.
