From the food you eat, to the water you drink, to the medicines you rely on, Eurofins laboratories work with the biggest companies in the world to ensure the products they supply are safe, their ingredients are authentic, and labelling is accurate.Eurofins is dedicated to delivering testing services that contribute to the health and safety of society and the planet, and to its corporate responsibility to protect the environment and ensure diversity, equity, and inclusion across the entire network of Eurofins companies.Job DescriptionEnsure laboratory is operated in a safe manner in accordance with Eurofins H&S system requirements.Lead method development, validation and data evaluation, and submit application to INAB for extension to scope.Be the expert in instrumentation including but not limited to mass spectroscopy and chromatographic techniques and be the lead trainer in their trouble shooting and maintenance.Perform testing as required to ensure customer and operational needs are met.Maintain accurate and systematic records in accordance with documented procedures.Deliver continuous improvement via robust RCA and CAPA.Ensure disciplined, data-driven, well-documented approaches to improving end-to-end operational performance.Proactively drive and own maintenance of QC system, introduction of new instruments, operational practices and test methods including performing / supporting method validations to meet INAB/ISO17025 and customer requirements.Contribute significantly in the management of Quality Management System.Proactively investigate any faults or problems and if not resolved, report findings to Management without delay.Support the Lab Manager with maintenance of quality system, process improvement, clearance of non-compliance, method review, method development and validation projects, preparation of regulatory and customer audits / visits, as directed.QualificationsDegree level qualification in Environmental Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Process Engineering, Lean Management or other relevant subject.Previous experience working within an accredited contract testing laboratory or related industry laboratory environment.Thorough understanding of relevant quality system and accreditation requirements.Proven track record of method development and validation.Experience of LIMS Systems, MS Office packages in particular Excel.Good standard of written and spoken English and numeracy skills.Additional InformationWho we are looking for:Hard working self-motivated and professional team playerAbility to work well under pressureExcellent attention to detailAbility to multi-task, prioritize, organise and co-ordinate your own workloadGood written and verbal communication skills
