Offer Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time fixed term position as Postdoctoral Researcher with the Antimicrobial Resistance and Microbial Ecology (ARME) group, School of Medicine, University of Galway.
This position is funded under Horizon Europe and is available from January 6th 2025 to contract end date of July 5th 2026.
The successful candidate will contribute to the BlueAdapt project. BlueAdapt brings together an interdisciplinary team of biologists, climate scientists, economists, epidemiologists, and public health experts to investigate and quantify the future health risks associated with selected coastal pathogens.
Salary: Postdoctoral Researcher salary scale €44,846 - 57,332 per annum, (subject to the project’s funding limitations), and pro rata for shorter and/or part-time contracts.

Minimum Requirements:
1. PhD in Microbiology/Bioinformatics/Microbiome Data Science or a related field.
