Retail Team Lead
Job Description
The primary role of the Retail Team Lead is to lead a team of retail sales specialists on the shop floor in day-to-day sales and enquiries, in a customer-facing role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement sales strategies and lead the sales team.
* Deal with telephone, email & internet enquiries.
* Do quotations and follow up on same.
* Build strong working relationships with customers to understand their requirements.
* Maintain a well-merchandised store/shopping area.
* Assist with stock management.
* Liaise with the warehouse and office staff to help fulfill incoming orders.
* Deal with other requests to support the busy operation as and when required.
* Follow company policies and procedures from an operational and health and safety perspective.
Requirements:
* Technical background/experience of working in Trades/Agriculture/Building/Safety/DIY or similar role is desirable.
* Sales driven attitude.
* Supervisory experience.
* Excellent Customer Service skills.
* Fluent written and spoken English essential.
* Be computer literate.
* Knowledge of retail sales in a similar environment is a distinct advantage.
