A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a passionate and talented Bar Supervisor to join our Michelin Plate awarded Carriage House team. Located just a short walk from the Manor, The Carriage House is very much a destination in its own right. Essentially an all-day eatery combining five dining zones that offer flexible, seasonally-inspired menus alongside a number of highly acclaimed signature dishes. The Carriage House offers a relaxed environment with a team who pride themselves on creating the highest standards of genuine heartfelt service. We are seeking a candidate who has a strong knowledge of drinks and thrives in a fast paced environment.
As Bar Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
* Assisting with the management of the Carriage House operation to ensure quality service and standards while delivering a guest experience that is unique.
* The seamless running of The Carriage House, including ensuring that all our standards are met by the team.
* Ensure compliance with all regulations concerning health, safety, or other requirements.
* Adherence to margins, revenue and labour targets.
* Creating memorable experiences for our guests, simultaneously ensuring that service is prompt and professional at all times.
* Being able to forward plan and prioritise to ensure smooth service.
* Management of a large team of floor staff and bartenders.
To be considered for this role, you must;
* Have up to 2 years of experience in a Food & Beverage or Bar Management role in a high-quality environment.
* Have exceptional product knowledge in regards to Spirits, Wines and Cocktails and a thorough understanding of industry trends and developments.
* Be motivated, creative and have worked in a similar role, within a luxury hotel environment.
* Be fluent in spoken and written English.
* Previous experience working with LQA (Leading Quality Assurance).
