We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our client’s kitchen team in Co. Wexford. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established venue offering fresh, high-quality dishes in a professional and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take charge of your designated section and ensure the preparation and presentation of dishes meet high standards
* Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to deliver a smooth and efficient service
* Uphold hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP) at all times
* Contribute ideas to menu development and seasonal offerings
* Support and mentor junior kitchen staff and help maintain a positive team spirit
* Manage stock for your section and reduce food waste wherever possible
* Ensure consistency, quality, and speed of service during busy periods
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Commis Chef looking to progress
* A genuine passion for food and attention to detail
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
* Knowledge of HACCP and kitchen health & safety regulations
