Amicus have been engaged by a leading firm of accountants in Meath to assist them recruit an experienced accounts technician. Our client will consider somebody looking for a 3 or 4 day week.
The Role:
1. Preparation of Working Papers & Financial Statements in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
2. Management Accounts for certain clients – generally Quarterly / 6 monthly.
3. Preparation, completion and filing of VAT, VAT RTD and RCT Returns.
4. Preparing draft year-end files.
5. Bank reconciliation.
6. Effectively manage and deal with client queries.
7. Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal guidance to drive things forward.
8. Other ad hoc duties and tasks as required by the business.
The Person:
1. Local accountancy practice experience essential. Ideally 3+ years.
2. Accounting Technician or IPASS qualification.
3. Well-developed interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
4. Good organisation skills.
