Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Store Manager in overseeing all daily operations, including sales performance, store presentation, and service excellence.
* Lead and motivate a team to achieve targets, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure smooth operational efficiency.
* Manage stock control, merchandising, and ordering to ensure optimal product availability and minimal waste.
* Assist with recruiting, training, and developing team members, fostering a positive and supportive working environment.
* Ensure health and safety compliance, adhering to company policies and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
* Analyse sales trends and customer feedback to help implement strategies that drive profitability and improve the shopping experience.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within grocery retail is essential.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.
* A customer-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality service and maintaining positive customer relationships.
